Ironman Gravity 2000
Ironman fitness machines are well known and are used by people and athletes around the world.
This particular model is ideal for the regular user who wants durability and comfort while inverting but not the extra weight and size of an ab trainer.
Placed as it is between the Gravity 1000 and Gravity 4000 models, the Gravity 2000 is very similar to the 1000 model, the main exception being a thick foam covered backrest instead of a standard vinyl back support.
If you only want an inversion table that is a step up from an entry level model and not a full pro top of the range one, the Ironman Gravity 2000 Inversion Table might be a good choice for you.
The Gravity 2000 inversion table is easy to assemble and should be fully assembled and ready for use in an hour or so. You just follow the instructions that come with it.
The Gravity 2000 is equipped with a standard steel frame so that it can support weights up to 300 pounds. Its compact design means it can fit a variety of spaces.
It comes with a tough powder coating scratch resistant finish to help ensure that your table remains looking as new for as long as possible.
It also comes with a two-inch multi-layered memory foam backrest with a water resistant vinyl cover that is double stitched to ensure that it is hard wearing.
The 2000’s steel frame is more stable than many other inversion tables costing under $200.
For extra comfort, some users prefer to wear thick socks or a pair of shoes that is comfortable for them. However, it is down to personal preference. The majority of people who use the Ironman Gravity 2000 Inversion Table have had no problem with this issue at all!
Like the Gravity 1000 model, the Gravity 2000 does not come with an easy-reach ankle locking system. This can make it a little difficult if you have restricted movement and cannot bend over much.
The device has a height adjustable frame that can accommodate people up to 6’ 6” tall.
The maximum weight capacity is 300 lbs.
It is very simple to invert using the Gravity 2000. To begin the inversion process, all you do is slip your feet into the ankle cushions, rest your back against the backrest and simply reach your arms up over your head and let gravity take over to do the rest. You will then invert and start feeling relaxed.
The table can invert to any of ten pre-set angles using an easy tether strap system, the adjustment of which takes only seconds. You can also adjust the starting angle to any of three separate starting positions which, in effect, gives this device a total of twelve inversion angles. The Gravity 2000 inverts up to 180 degrees.
There are foam covered handles on the sides of the device to assist the user when coming back to the upright position after finishing inversion.
The Ironman Gravity 2000 Inversion Table can be folded for storage when not in use to a footprint that’s approximately 2 feet by 4 feet. This also has the advantage of allowing you to move the table around easily if you want to change location.
This device has tough rubber non-skid floor stabilizers to provide additional stabilization on various floor finishes including hardwood and carpets and prevent the table from moving while inverting.

Factors to Consider
If all you want is a basic non-entry level inversion table with a foam padded backrest and have no desire to perform inverted workouts, then the Ironman Gravity 2000 is probably one of the best inversion tables for your needs.
If, however, you suffer from mobility issues then maybe an inversion table with an easy-to-reach ankle locking system such as the Teeter Hang Ups EP-960 might offer a better, although more expensive, solution.
This table is what you would expect from Ironman but without the bulk and weight of an ab trainer.
